Can Gulbis beat Nadal tomorrow at Wimbledon?

After seeing Safin take Djokovic apart in straight sets, I have a feeling that Gulbis could pull it off too. Gulbis is an exceptionally talented player with a very good game capable to beating the very best in the game.

How realistic are his chances of beating Nadal? I want Nadal to win so I am a little concerned.

He can definitely do it.

Nadal has been a slow starter historically at Wimbledon, and Gulbis has demonstrated a strong serve with a good game behind it that will give Nadal some trouble.

Nadal has the mental resolve to fight him off regardless of how long the match goes, so he should win.

I wouldn't bet on Gulbis, but it honestly wouldn't shock me to see it happen.

Sure he can, but will he I doubt it, Nadal is not great on grass as he is on clay but still he is very good and very  stable, he can come back from impossible situations, so I would put my money on Nadal and pretty sure it will be 3:0 for him.

Wow I know this kid is good and I think he will be better than Novak but to take the first set off Nadal on grass 7-5 WOW! Ernests has a great attitude and No Fear. This could be an upset. He's matching Nadal stroke for stroke and beating him on power. d**n! Nadals up 5-1 in the 2nd Gulbis is getting nervous finally. All is right with the world again.

yes I think Gulbis has the talent and a good game for grass.....but I am still pulling for Nadal (= although I am a fan of Gulbis haha I am just glad djokovic is out!

well anything is possible.. nadal is not the ideal grass court player.. someone with a booming serve and very aggressive tactics can take him out..

but i think nadal will come through
