  1. Yes H&R Block can give you a copy of the return you have filed with them. They will charge a fee which I believe is $20. If you can't afford the $20, just call the IRS and ask them to send a copy of the return you have filed or a tax return transcript I believe. Getting it from the IRS is free, but it takes longer to get to you by mail which can be up to 4 weeks. If you have a fax you can get it right then and there. If not then, getting it fast would be through h&r. hope this helped.

  2. Yes they can. You have to go to an open office to do this in person because you identity will need to be verified. There may be a charge assessed depending if that is the norm in your area. I work for them and in my area we usually don't charge a fee for this unless their is some research involved. You can also call IRS directly for this but it may take a week to get to you and it is not in a user friendly format. IRS reports a list of what was on the tax return line by line.

  3. Yes, they should be able to.  They will most likely charge you a fee for it.

  4. If the preparer prepared your taxes, they should be able to provide you with a copy of your return.

If all the preparer did was transmit your return information, they are not required to give you a copy.
