Can HIV live in the latex?(condom)?

one guy at my school gave me an open condom's paper on the side by 1 cm, do you think that he putted something in it with a syringe?

can the virus live inside the condom?

it wasn't used, only the paper was opened 1cm on the side, and he told me that he sit on it and i has blowed and i saw that nothing was inside it but i want to know if the virus lives there

HIV only lives for 24 hours once out side the body, but i would still toss the condom out and pay $1 for a new one. its just not worth the worry.
