To me she not a singer. If it wasn't for her dad she wouldn't be on Disney. I like her nbut do her dad write her music?

role of Lilly.

However, the producers thought it was better to have an actress that could act and also

sing for the title role.

Miley Cyrus got the part.

Her father does write some of the songs for

the series.

To me I don't really see any real singers in today's society. Hold on, before you are quick to think this must be some old person. I am only 18. I mean I do listen to today's music but most lyrics and singers just suck. Go google older singers and you'll find the right people. Sorry, haha to get back on subject..NO Hannah Montana is just another one of those generic girls.

No she can not sing! There's not even a question on that one. I think her dad writes her lyrics, they stink to me though. The real singers were around in the 60's, 70's, somewhat 80's, and a little bit 90's. But there are barely any now. I could name them on my fingers, which is pretty sad considering all the 'singers' that are out today.

She's a generic girl. She's not a good singer at all, and  i agree completely. Her dad is the reason why she's famous. Notice all her fans are 8 years old..
