  1. anyone with any type of liver disease can work where they want.

infact, many of those with hcv got hcv at work, doing what they love-being a nurse, doctor, surgeon....and having hcv makes them HUMAN, not so much a risk. those with hcv take more precautions than those that dont know they are infected. we know risk factors of ALL kinds regarding hcv infection.

it is not against the law to have hcv or hbv and work in health related careers.

as for simply talking "in her face"....no risk whatsoever! hcv is only, repeat ONLY spread through cross contamination of blood.

no one has hcv infection that i grew up with. my children are healthy and have a husband as well and he is fine too.

blood to blood to blood to blood O N L Y!

  2. I am a CCMA

NO there is no danger.. It is a liver disease which was contracted through either a injection, tainted blood, drug usage, dirty tattooing needles or even a stick by a needle while giving an injection..

Is this person allowed to work with patients in a clinical setting? Meaning like a Medical Assistant or Nurses Assistant or are they working in the office only? Such as Medical Records, Checking in the patient, Appointments?

If they are actually in contact with the patient I would be shocked as they are NOT supposed to work with patients like this..
