Question:

Can I 'beat' a speeding ticket because of conflicting traffic signs?

I received a ticket for speeding in a school zone. According to the officer, I was doing 31 and the speed limit was 20. However having traveled this road often, I remembered seeing a sign saying that the speed limit is 20 "When Children Are Present". I went back and found the sign, but it's on the opposite side of the street -- directly across the street from where I got the ticket. The speed limit is 35. Any thoughts? Thanks.

  1. It's worth a shot. Take pictures of everything.

  2. Absolutely you can beat the traffic ticket. For more information on how to deal with the court, see the blog spot.

  3. take it to the judge.  bring pictures,  ask for a traffic study that should be preformed every 5 years.  good luck

  4. Take pictures and submit it to the courts on your court date. The more proof you have the better your case is. If they do make you take a traffic school check out http://www.TicketRelief.com. I just took an Online class with them and they were awesome!
