Can I Bring in a sunglsses frame to lenscrafters and have them fit prescription lenses into them? ?

My dad has 2 old pairs of rayban wayfarers.

wayfarer II's and wayfarer max's.

pretty d**n old. but fly.

  1. I suppose that they could.  They cut my lenses bigger than normal so, I guess they can cut any size.


  2. The cost you pay to have your glasses made from them they should be masters to fit any frame given to them.  I say go ahead and see what they can do.

  3. ull pay a $h*t load of money at lenscrafters and thats for lenses that are not so good... go to a Sam's Club if u have one close by... they have good prices and top quality lenses. and as someone sed earlier most optical stores do trace frames and it does depend on if the frame is fragile and if the lens is too curvy

  4. Of course they can. Any optical store can. We cut lenses for frames that people bring in all the time.

    As long as the frames are still in good shape...old plastic frames can often cause problems because they dry out and get very brittle.
