Can I DRIVE to canada and back to usa...?

even if i dont have a passport. I do have a green card and a photo ID

but i do not have any kind of passport or a travel document.

If you are visiting the Falls for just a couple of hours they will let you go as long as you have a proof of who you are.

all you need is proof of citizenship or residency status AND photo ID (Government issued only. So a driver's licence works).  This is the case until June 2009 when driving.  Then a passport WILL be required by all.  You don't have to leave after the day, and you can travel as far into Canada as you want, you can even cross back at a different border if that's what you want.  The other poster must be misinformed on that issue.
