Can I send food by mail?

Here are the details:

I want to send one chocolate to

Tamworth, Australia

from

London, U.K.

I am planning to put it in an ordinary envelope with the correct amount of stamps according to weight.

Is there anything else I need to do?

I'd put it in a little box first. You can buy small ones or use one that had a ring in. Quickest delivery is airmail.

Depends how it is packed and stored. It won't make it through Customs if it's wrapped in simple foil. Maybe if it's wrapped in a properly sealed box it'll have a chance. The quickest way is air mail, but it'll probably cost you a fair bit if your sending a box.

I wouldn't put it in an ordinary envelope because the reciever will thin k you've defacated in the envelope, have you seen the way they manhandle mail and that's without what the heat can do to the enclosed.

I would box it up first, just a small box yo've probablt got somehting around the house then use a jiffy type envelope, it'll have to go via post office so will need airmail stamps, i don't think normal stamps will do, but hey what do i know i've never posted a single choc abroad. I know when my auntie sent packages to her son in the forces she make up parcels of sweets and chocolates but put them in a shoebox first, they arrived fine.

You can send it!!

Put it in a strong envelope or manilla envelope for the extra strength.  Put some tissue paper around it to protect it.  There should be nothing else that you have to do.

Take it to the post and ask for options to get it delivered ASAP.  It probably will be airmail, but they may have another option to speed it up even more!

also U can open the site of that country and find delivery shops do this business  ( they buy chocolate 4U as yr request )and then U  transfer money 2 them ...
