  1. No...Must be 17 with your parents permission......I had to sign a paper for my son when he was 17 and entered the DEP for the Navy.......GO NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. No sorry.   17 with parental or Legal Guardian signing.

  3. no.  you may not begin the process until you are 17 and have parental permission.  also, you cannot ship until you have graduated High school.  a GED will NOT be accepted.

  4. 17 is the minimum age and that requires parental consent.

  5. The requirements are that you are 1) 17 with parental consent and 2) that you are at least a senior in high school. (meaning that you have at least graduated from the 11th grade.  Once you meet those two requirements then you will be eligible to join.  Contrary to another answer GED's are accepted although not encouraged.  The requirements to join with a GED are much, MUCH harder than if you have a high school diploma.  In order to qualify with a GED you have to score MUCH higher on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude battery test (ASVAB) in order to be eligible to join.  Some branches limit the number they will even accept each year to only a few.  Please stay in school and finish your High School diploma.  You can DEP the beginning of your senior year and ship right after graduation.  That will give you all school year to prep for Recruit training.

    Good Luck

  6. Nope. 17 with parental consent.
