Can I Loose Everything on my computer from a Disck Boot Failure?

ok, so i have this problem (disk boot failure) nd everytine i start my computer, it asks me 4 my windows XP system disk. im afraid that if i insert the disk, then i'll loose everything on my computer. also, y do i get this error? idk if its from a disk that is currently in my disk drive nd it doesnt want to come out, thxns a lot!

OK.Your files was not affected because as you've said, you have a floppy disk inserted in your floppy drive that can't come out.All you need to do is to remove the floppy drive. IF you really can't get it out, you just need to open your computer case and remove the cable connected to your floppy drive so  that when it boot again, the problem will get solve.

If there is a disk in your drive that won't come out, you can open up the box to get it out. I'm sure your computer is different than mine, but I don't need to use any screwdrivers or anything I just have to unhook a few latches. Also if the disk that is in there has been used numerous times in the past it is probably not the problem.
