  1. Its not exactly in big demand + a degree in Engineering or Accounting would get you way further in an instant.

Good luck.  America is not the hardest country to get into in case you havent noticed.

  2. Your degree would have to be the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from a US university.  To qualify for an employment visa such as H1-b, you must have at least two years experience in your field beyond the BA or BS degree.  Once you have at least 2 years experience, you could apply for jobs in your field, and if an employer wants to hire you, they will apply for the employment visa (you cannot apply).

If you want to move permanently to the US, you will have to apply for immigration.  You must have a sponsor who is an immediate blood relative (parent, sibling, or adult child) who is a US citizen.  Depending on what country you are from, the wait could be 5 - 10 years after approval of your application before you can actually enter the US.

You should be aware of the state of the US job market, which is in deep decline.  To get an employment visa, the employer must prove that there are no Americans qualified and available for the job.  This is increasingly difficult to do since there are so many unemployed Americans, and the graphic design field is pretty popular, therefore glutted with qualified and experienced people looking for work.

  3. If it is a recognized Course at an established college with credits et al and involves at least 3 years of study and maybe some post graduate work, then you stand a chance of your "degree" having any authenticity.

You just cannot "MOVE" to the USA. Either you apply for Immigration (and you will have to be well qualified with lots of work experience, and lots of money in your bank) or try to apply for a Green Card (find an employer that could use your skills).

Remember, Work experience counts a lot. So, do not expect to jet off to the West with just your hard-earned degree clutched firmly in your hand.
