Can I Pick What T.V. Channels I Want?

I will be getting into my first place and I want some t.v. I'm okay with basic, but there are about 5 extra channels that I would really like. Is there a way I can just get the extra channels I want without buying all of them? I don't want to pay 100-120 a month for cable.

No, you cannot pick and choose what stations you want.  

We might see this one day in the future though.
