  1. Well, you can put them together and watch them carefully. If the betta does get his fins nipped then it is best to either take him or the danios out.

  2. First of all, there are different kinds of danios. It's good to do some research to see what kind. In general, danios are supposed to be good tank mates for a betta but it all depends. My betta is alone in a 5-gallon and is aggressive with most fish I've tried to put in. You could try it to see if it works out. If not, be prepared to put the danios in another tank or return to the store. Check out the following websites.

  3. nun ka

    or what we say no

  4. Probably

The problem with betas come when you put two of them together, but with other fish it should be fine

plus even if for some reason the beta would go after them, the danios are very quick and could out-swim a beta easily

  5. Usually zebra danios and bettas can get on fine together.  More often than not this combo works out.  But do keep your eyes out because danios can be a bit nippy with the bettas delicate fins or your betta may be on the more aggressive end and go after the danios.

If you notice any heighten levels of aggression be prepared to remove one or the other.
