Can I Put mac osx on my dell with xp?

I have a computer and dont use it really use it I really love garageband and I was wondering if I can put Mac osx on my dell.If so do you know the system requirements?

  1. You cannot install a Mac operating system on a non-mac/apple computer.  Sorry, but Windows machines are not smart enough for that.  You can, however, install Windows on a Mac by using a program such as Parallels or BootCamp to partition the drive into 2 separate systems.

    And before you ask, no you can't install GarageBand under Windows.
