I&#039;ve beeen writing for over fifty years, and have written many poems in numerous styles.

are you the one i waited for

the one who will treat me right

the person who can make me quiver

when you say my name just right

will you be there with me

be there and hold me tight

be with me through tough times

to let me know your by my side

and when i wake each morning

will you be my first sight

and right befor bed

will you be the last to say goodnight

would you kow that your my weakness

the only one who could bring me to my knees

and would you know how to exploit that

that i would only need to hear your sweet voice say please

do you know that when i say i love you

its more than just words coming from me

im saying i cannot resistt ou so its meant to be

People run to catch up with time,

but he is running hoping to find

a way back to past memories

searching across made up boundaries

his answers sting my cheek

it usually hurts when he speaks

for the man is in love with me

and it&#039;s causing me anarchy.

I close my eyes and i see you

I open them and i hear your voice

I want to feel your touch

Want to hear your heartbeat next to mine

But you know what I know you will be mine one day

Because you&#039;re my best friend

And best friends belong together!

So I&#039;ll wait for you

I&#039;ll always will be

And if or when I have the guts

To tell you that I love you after all these years

Then we will be together forever

Well, I don&#039;t have any in my mind but I can give you what my sister has:                              My Secret Place

             I have a secret place to go.

             Not anyone may know.

             And sometimes when the wind is rough

             I cannot get there fast enough.

             And sometimes when my mother

             Is scolding my brother

             My secret place, it seems to me,

             Is quite the only place to be.
