  1. If you know any local farmers who have chickens & sell their eggs, they would love to have your egg cartons!

  2. yes

    you can recycle almost everything

  3. You don't have to flatten recycled materials unless your local government requires it. Cardboard of any shape or kind is recyclable with paper/carboard. Some places will accept solid styrofoam, not pellets. That would go into plastics. Idealy you don't have to sort anything, you get a large recyle bin and dump everything in, like they do here, and they it's all sorted by the sanitation people.

  4. You can recycle close to 80% of every thing that we use as a container for most all products used by mankind today

    .. .. ..

And the egg did come first

so the egg carton is maybe first in line to jump in the recycle container

    .. .. .

  5. If its a cardboard-like one, then I would recycle it with mixed paper/cardboard.  If its a styrafoam carton, then I'm pretty sure you can't recycle it.

  6. YEP OR REUSE IT.

  7. the cardboard ones can go in the compost bin, rip up first.
