  1. I also always wanted to study medicine but didn't get the grades for it, so i'm kind of stuck too. Medicine requires at least an A in english, math and science (double award) in GCSE. So i'm not sure if you'll be able to make it but there may be a chance hopefully but if those A's are in these subjects then well done otherwise good luck.

  2. of course!

it depends on the medical course, but they often require 3 A levels.

normally 3 including chemistry, biology or maths.

but you'll need excellent grades for medicine :D

    good luck!

  3. Medical Schools will not just look at grades. How well you did in the prerequisite courses is important, but so is life experience such as volunteering.  A good MCAT score will help as well.

  4. It may be difficult to study medicine with the C's... although never rule out your chances. You should probably think to yourself if you learn all you should so far, and are you ready to go into the medicine field right now? If so why not apply to a medical school. It may not be a good medical school though, and it can also lower your chances getting a job/ payment.

  5. You need to be honest with yourself. Those grades will not get you a place to study medicine.

What were you predicted? Because to study medicine you'd need to be looking at all grade As with several of them at A*. You're nowhere near that. Did you expect to be? More important, did your teachers expect you to be?

If you were predicted far higher grades, then you might look into having your papers remarked. But it will cost a lot of money - don't do it unless you genuinely think the marks are wrong.

If you think you can do better, because you just didn't do enough work, then you should consider redoing the entire year. That won't put universities off at all - it shows dedication and determination.

    Good luck!
