I Am Going On Holiday On Monday And I'm not Sure Weather I Can Take Disposable Camera's In Hand Luggage Or In My Suitcase Anybody Know?

  1. Yes you can take disposable cameras in either your checked on your hand luggage. No problem! I know that this is the case in New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba and the USA because I have done it.

    I have also never had any problem with the film being damaged by the xrays. I don't think you need to worry.  


  2. I am a seasoned traveller and for film based camera or rolls of film, you can buy a protector bag that will protect it from the x-rays that will render them useless if not protected.

    Even computer, CD's and DVDs should be clearly marked, the magnetic devices can play havoc with them also, I always have my digital cameras and laptops check by hand, the even have a device that sniffs them for explosives.

  3. Yes you can on US flights, it is actually recommended to carry it on as the x-ray equipment can damage the film.  See the link below and look under electronic items (don't ask me why cameras are under electronic items)!  If you are traveling outside of the US I would contact your airline for the rules there.
