I have a good friend in the Air Force. He is stationed in Texas. He enjoys getting texts. However, at the moment I do not have text messaging. I was wondering if there was any way that I could text him from online? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Yes. Mobile phones now come equipped with messenger applications (e.g. Yahoo, AIM, and MSN). All you would need to do is download either of the applications he has on his phone, save him as a buddy, and start chatting. He has to have one of these applications.

There may be other ways. I am only aware of this one.

  2. I'm fairly positive there is a way to send a text message to a cell phone, but you need to understand that he has to pay for each text message he either sends OR receives.  That's why I finally shut off MY text message option through Sprint - every little text message someone sent me was costing ME just to receive it!  (I think it's a royal rip off, since the sender already pays their own phone company to send it!)

  3. yes you can

  4. yes yes yessss you can. :]

    go to www.chikka.com

  5. go to sprint.com at the bottom it says send a text

only works for sprint or nextel sorry if no help

  6. This depends on the provider you are using, There are providers who allow you to logon to thier site and using your own password and logon in conjunction with your own mobile number send and recieve upto 15 SMS messages daily. Ask your provider or look on line for their support site.

  7. go to your cell phone company's website

and log on to your account

you should be able to text to the cell phone number you typed in in the personal tool section
