Can I Trace A English Mobile Phone?

i live in england and recently had my mobil stolen, i am very keen to get it back and will offer a reward for it, i have text the phone offering this but had no response, there are things on it like pictures that mean a lot to me and are priceless,

is there a way i can trace the phone to find out where abouts it is as i know the person that has it keeps turning it on and off and possibly using it

go to the police station and they cab set up a sim tracker for free of course

Report it stolen to your network provider and the police. Your network providers will bar the phone so the thief can't use it. And the police may be able to track it down. Good luck.
