No you cant Speed up your speed... But you can make downloads Faster....

Well Generally in an internet connection. If the speed given is something the max speed you can ever get is tat speed divided by 8...

Like if your speed is 256kbps you'll get like a max download speed of 32kbps... But while using normal browsers it dose not ever hit tat speed of 32kbps mostly.

If you want to download something it takes a real long time running at about 10 to 20kbps. So what i advice you is to get firefox browser which dose speed up the downloads abit by preventing other non user related downloading to be executed. I think even netscape dose it i'm not sure. But not Internet explorer. And download accelerator Plus is a Good download engine. You can use it to speed up your downloads even faster. I've seen it working... Its Awesome.
