My old computer died and the hard drives should still be completely intact. My questions is how can I connect those drives to another computer to get the files off? External drive adapter or something maybe? Thanks for the help!

  2. In most cases when a computer dies it's the hard drive that goes. But to see if yours is still working change the jumper to slave and install it in the aux. bay of your computer. Be sure to wire it in correctly. If it's good you should be able to see it as a second drive. You can also put it in a external drive adapter if you don't feel comfortable messing around inside your computer.
