Can I activate my verizon phone at home or do I have to go into verizon to activate it?

im buying my phone off the internet...can i just call a number and have my phone activated?

But anyway I think you have to call Verizon thats what I always do.

call their customer service, they should be able to activate it over the phone!!!!!!

Easy....if you ordered your phone from Verizon over the internet, they will send you the information with the phone to activate over the telephone. Basically, you charge the phone and then dial *228 on it and choose option #1...or you can go to the store...I do it on the phone.

Just put your sim card into it, put the battery into it, and turn it on.

PS. If you don't have a sim card (the little card with all your information that tracks stuff you do on your phone and such) then you need to go to the Verizon wireless store and get a sim card.
