Can I add a bigsby to a les paul?

you were going in the right direction, until you mentioned the ultra II. Dont get me wrong, i like it, i have it, to play songs that need both acoustic and electric sounds.

but the problem right there is that, its not completelty solid. it has chambers inside which make ALOT  lighter. this means that the bigsby wouldn't have a good place on the body, where it couldnt damage the wood.

and another point is that, the bigsby could mass with the electronis in the back of the ultra II

on another les paul yes, and it is very costy.
