Can I add default text to all e-mails of my Yahoo! Group?

For example, I'd like all my e-mails to have "Tell a friend" about the group at the bottom of them. Can I have it so it includes that at the bottom of every e-mail?

  1. this is called a signature- and an e-mail option, not group option. you'd do this from your e-mail and post through that. there is no clicking post or reply on the group and this being default. the only way it's going to say what you want is by copying and pasting,  or typing it there while posting off the group.

  2. If you are talking about emails sent from your group; if you are group owner or moderator with the assigned privilege, you can add that info to the existing footer in your group messages.

On your computer, open a new text document or a Word document.  Type the info as you want it to appear in the footer.  Highlight it and copy it (Ctrl+C)

    Sign in to your group.

    Click Management.

    Under Group Settings, Click Messages.

Click Edit located to the right of Subject Tag and Footer.

In the Footer box, you will see the existing footer text; paste (Ctrl+V) your link in the position you prefer.

Scroll down to bottom of page and click Save Changes.

If you want to change it later, just repeat the above instructions.
