  1. You can, go see a club pro or a golf shop with a clubsmith, they can adjust them to your liking.,

  2. You can, but why would you want to?

  3. Why would you want to mess with the loft of your clubs ? Just to say  you were using a shorter club than your opponent? Most good players have the knowledge of the distance they hit each club when they swing hard , medium or easy. So if they want to hit farther, they choose a 3 iron instead of a 4 or 4 instead of a 5. The pros will tinker with their clubs, looking for a particular flight. Unless you know what you are doing, leave well enough alone, learn your distances and use them wisely.

  4. I do not think so, try asking a club pro.

  5. You can by seeking a club pro or edwin watts, but why, you lose ball flight and control of your club, just practise hitting them on the sweet spot more often and use a smooth swing.

  6. The lofts are designed to give you distance and height.  If you decrease the loft, you will may distance but you will lose height, that means the ball may roll of green and into bunkers or worse, water.

Hitting it further means hitting it flush on the sweet spot.  Tour players do not swing out of their skull, and yet they hit it a mile.

But if you still want to do this, yes it's possible to adjust loft on forged irons by as much as 3 degrees.  Forged irons are made of softer metal which is more receptive to mechanical bending.  Cast irons may develop fatigue point in the joints / weak points.

  7. Lofts can be adjusted, tour lofts are close to 2 degrees strong, each degree you have the clubs delofted you also lose a degree of bounce.  If your irons are forged it will not be a problem, more of an issue and possibly only by special order if they are cast.
