I want my extended family to be able to see my family calendar without being members of the group. This includes people who do not have yahoo accounts. How do I do it?

  1. moekitty's answer is how you set this up however public means the public of Yahoo ID's. those without Yahoo ID's when they click on that calendar icon will be directed to a page to sign in or create an ID. you can not enable the world wide web to have access, so your family members would still need a Yahoo ID to access and view the public calendar

you can test this out by signing out on the web- then go to a public calendar on any Yahoo Group

  2. Sign in to the group and click on Management.

Under Group Settings, click on Web Tools

On the next page that comes up, click "Edit" to the right of Web Tools.

Scroll down to Calendar and select "Public (anyone, including non-members, can view events".

Click on "Save Changes" located near bottom right or upper right of page.
