  1. hang my Bean from a brick wall using a standard "U" shape hanger. I have three different types of hangers, but my favorite for the Bean is the model that has two screws into the wall (since the guitar is so heavy). Many only have 1. The 1 s***w models are strong enough, but I like the "factor of safety". I took the hanger to the hardware store and got masonry molly bolts and a masonry drill bit. It was a pretty easy job and it does make it easier to pick it up and play - plus it's the greatest conversation piece.

Another alternative is always a nice guitar stand on the floor, but I do prefer the wall hanger. Best of luck. You should be able to find something that works without too much trouble I think.

If you can't be bothered waiting for Tomy's illusive Rockstar Guitar and the Guitar Hero is a little too invisible for you then the V-Beat might well be up your street. Hold the headstock section in one hand and move it closer to or further away from the body to change pitch whilst your other hand strums over the motion sensors, almost as easy, and much more effective than your old tennis racquet. As its smashed sorry split into two parts already it adds to the aura of you being a rcok god.... Albeit with a slightly shrunken instrument... That'll be all the groupies and late nights then.

  2. I recommend the Hercules hangers, they lock the guitar in when the weight hangs on it.  Use masonry screws to install it.  I might worry about the body of the guitar though.  I'd suggest some foam polyethylene pipe insulation and a piece of PVC pipe to pad against the body (cheap solution).

  3. buy guitar hangers from guitar center. Go to home depot and get brick/cement screws. These screws work great.

I don't need a pic of your guitar to tell you how to do this but here is mine LOL -

  4. If you don't want to drill into the masonry, look here:

    it's $10 for a set of 4 and they support 25lbs each.

  5. easy get two padded brackets one on the thin part of the guitar and one on the bottom near where you strum blow there  then you can lift if off as you please
