We have not filed for immigrant visa yet. But I'd like to visit to U.S for a month with a toursit visa. Is that possible? What are the steps? And for now I'm not in my country and I'm currently in other country with social visa.

  1. The first poster is wrong, youare not automatically a citizen, as you are already aware off. It kind of depends what country you are from.

If you are from one of the countries that can use a visa-waiver you can stay for 3 months without applying for one.

As long as you can prove you will return to your country, with for example a house in your name or a job, you should be able to apply for a tourist visa.

  2. If you are traveling on a social visa, you will need to apply for a B1/B2 visa from the US embassy in your country. You will still have to prove that you will return to your country after the visit.**

  3. you are a us citizen if you're husband is one
