Can I apply for a canadian student visa then apply for F-1 american.b4 the canadian one runs out ?

im planning on studyin in canada for one semester then transfer to an american one but im worried about the visa

will america give me a student visa while the canadian one runing? and do i have to go back to my country for that or I can apply from US embassy in canada?

Certainly - Having a Canadian visa does not preclude your applying for a US visa.  And if you do have ties to a third country (i.e., you are going to school in Canada), it is most likely that a US foreign mission in Canada would allow you to apply for a visa in that country, though ultimately, it is at the discretion of the US mission.
