If you are based in the UK get in touch with BA they have their own pilot training school and are always looking to positively recruit female pilots. They will be able to tell you what qualifications you need to complete at school and explain their selection process to you.

Elsewhere its worth contacting large airlines as they may also have pilot training schools.

Sure you can. female pilots are really needed by the airlines since they have patience and take their time in handling situations unlike males. Go ahead with your dream girl. I personally like it when I'm flown by a female pilot. I love their announcements(their voice is s**y)

Sure you can! So many woman pilots are flying--even Boeing 777s and Airbuses. In my country, once I boarded a flight (it was an Airbus 320) and both the co-pilot as well as the commander were women!

Airlines are hiring women pilots. No denying.

however, remember, male or female, it is a very competitive field and also one that has a lot of uncertainty, because aviation is dependant on so many factors such as economy, fuel prices etc.

Also your health needs to be good throughout.

Being a woman won't limit you too much. There are still people with sexist attitudes, but most know well enough to keep it to themeselves. To be a pilot, you need to work for it. Everybody does. Do well in school, and you'll have a good shot at a lot of great jobs. Good luck!

Of course you can be a pilot.

So long as you can pass a physical (they'll check for heart disease, color-blindness, hearing, 20/20 vision - glasses are OK, etc.) and you have the skills you can do it.

i flew on spirit airlines not long ago and my A319 captain was a female people on the plane were a little nervous but i wasent after all my father owned a Private Jet charter Company and he hired mostly females
