Hey,

I'm trying to find my uncle, hes been missing for 30 years, and he would be about 55 years old now.

All i know is where he used to work and the fact he went to prison in London 30 years ago.

Would I be able to contact the prison and ask them for information?

Im under the impression he went into prison because of something work related, so his name, date of birth, information of his employers (the pub name) should be enough?

I think i can get hold of the national insurance number he had then, if that would also help..

Thanks for all your answers.

xx

  1. Your best bet is to speak to the citizens advice bureau in your area, I know there is a freedom of information act but am unsure as to what that covers,

I dont know if the prison would really know much else, if he was released on probation then maybe they could trace his whereabouts for the duration of the probation period.

Best bet is to call the bureau or seek legal advice to find out exactly what you can ask for?

    Good Luck xx
