We got officially divorced 8 months ago and the kids just moved into our new homes. We sold the marital home in April. She met a guy from Canada (we live in the US) in February and is introducing the kids to him tomorrow. He has no children of his own. She is taking him with our kids to the Carribbean for vacation in November with 2 other couples and their kids. Should I be concerned? Am I justified in asking to runa backround check? The guy is from another country and he will be in a room with my kids in a 3rd world country and my ex has only known him for 6 months and at most has seen him 5 times.
