Can I assume that the fax number is the same as the telephone number?

I'm a high school student and I'm new at this. I'm trying to fax out an application to a company. There is no fax number on the site of the company, just the normal landline.

if your dealing with a large company I'm sure that they have a separate fax number, but if not some company's do use the same number. what happens is if you call this number and it continues to ring you hit sent on your fax and if you here it starts beeping go ahead and transmit, if you get no results call the number and ask for their fax number. most newer fax machines will let you know if your fax has been sent successfully.

usually in my experience the fax and telephone numbers are diffrent. do you have to company number if so call them, and ask for the  fax number.  good luck!

you would have to call them and get the fax number from them
