Can I be a border patrol if my brother does not have legal status yet?

I don't know exactly what they ask in their personal history statement, but I am willing to bet family members is included in the inquiry into your life.  Unless you are completely apart from your brother, have no relationship with him other than having the same parents, and you can prove all this, I would say they would not hire you.  The reasons could include feared favoritism, corruption, moral allegiances to family vs. the job, etc.
