Can I be a center? I need help.?

I am going into grade 7 this yr and i play basketball...i am good. But, I am short. I am 5 feet. Other girls on my team are like 5'5 but they are clumzy! I am better than them. Can I be a center still?

sorry kate.. you probably won't be a center if you're the shortest and other players are 5 inches taller than you. Centers have to be one of the tallest in the team.

Why would u want to be a center?

if your ball handling is good, be a guard..

But my fav. position is a forward.
