  1. Yes of course you can.  Professional sports players have had artificial hips.  In fact if you can pass the physical tests, they are not allowed to turn you down, it's against the ADA, the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  2. If you can make it through the academy.

They do alot of running and physical stuff.

    Its worth a shot.

What do you have to loose?

  3. Since you were so young when you had the replacement and since the kind of activity you do now may influence how long this hip lasts before a revision is needed, you may want to consider this when choosing a profession even though you may have metal/metal or ceramic/ceramic bearing which may last longer than the gold standard metal/poly.

Most hip replacements are done on patients much older than you (and because they are older, it is presumed that they are also less active than you might be).  Therefore they are relatively easy on their fake joints.  SImply stated, younger hip replacement patients (especially young males) are more apt to beat up their fake joint and need revision surgery.  The goal is usually to make the primary replacement last as long as possible.  Revisions tend to be more complicated & less successful than primary hip replacement surgery.

I've had both of my hips replaced but I am twice as old as you are.  I may be lucky and have hips that will outlive me.  You, on the other hand, probably face at least one (and possibly more) revision in your future.  Don't do anything that will hasten that.  The most common indication for revision is loosening of the prosthesis.
