Can I be a music teacher with a minor in music?

I am going to school to get my degree in Secondary Education, with my concentration in Social Studies. I have ALWAYS had a passion for music, but I have also always wanted to be a history teacher. I was thinking that I could get a minor in music, and I could use that to be a music teacher. So my question is, is it possible to be a high school music teacher with a music minor

Yes, if you are very talented. However, depending on your state, you will need a BA in Education. You can also opened up your own Music Studio if you like.
