  1. as long as you have your teacher certification you can teach. but if you want a quick teaching job you should try to get some more classes to get a degree in math or science. with psychology you should have alot of the classes need to get another degree just from those you have already acquired. go to the councilor or someone over scheduling and see what degree you can get to be a teacher or if what you have is enough. but you will still have to get your certification.

  2. In Texas you can. You just need to through some Alternative Certification Program to become fully certified!

  3. I was a math teacher in South Florida with a degree in Psychology.  But as the previous answerer stated, you will automatically qualify temporarily for social sciences with a psych degree.  You'll still have to take some tests, but you can teach at the same time.

If you want to teach something else, all you have to do is take a subject area exam.  Piece o' cake.

  4. I think it depends on what state you are in. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and I am a teacher in Florida. I am certified (after some testing) to teach Social Sciences, grades 6-12 with my degree. Can you just major in Education at that school? That is what I would do. Good luck and I hope this helps.
