  1.      I don't know about becoming a writter, but I'm sure you can become a writer!!!  Sorry, I don't mean to be rude.  Your spelling, understandably, is poor, but there's nothing at all stopping you from writing.  Sit down with a notebook and dictionary and write a story.  Something about India would be very interesting, I would think.  Writing has nothing whatever to do with education.  It's the 'want to' that counts. And what better way to learn English? So go at it, and very good luck

  2. Go for it! Editors will help you with spelling, flow and things.

  3. Once you learn how to write words, then you can work on sentences. Before you know it, you might handle the difficult and abstract concept of paragraphs.

    Enjoy!

  4. Well, I think that while having a college degree is good, I don't think you absolutely have to to write a book. I'm only twelve and I write, not that I'm published or anything. Also, even if people doubt you, it is just a hobby (though it could evolve into a job). No one besides you can dictate whether you take up writing or not.

One thing you could do is write about just how different India is from Canada. It could be a book on your big move here to North America. I think that would be great to read about. It would be one of those books that teaches you a lot about culture (in this case, Indian and Canadian).

    Anyways, I hope I helped!

  5. I say go for it!

It cannot hurt, and don't listen to the first girl, with practice and discipline, you could write a book...whether it would sell or not depends on the market and people's interests.

Another option, besides you 'writing' the book physically, would be to tell your story to a small author or freelance writer. They may be interested and be able to work with you on a book.

  6. I think you could be a writer but i think as someone who is just beginning it is a good thing to have it as a hobby at first and have a job as well. I think once you get published it can become a main career and i think its great to write as well but i think for now its best to have another job as well.

  7. No, but you can become a "writer" once you learn how to spell.

  8. Of course you can. Some people with no education have written bestsellers. I suppose it would depend on how good your english is but if it isn't too great, you might want to get someone to check for spelling/grammatical errors.

  9. You need to write and keep writing until your done your book. Most try but then can't go though with it. It takes discipline and you need to read books as well.

  10. Good luck with writing. Hope you do well.
