The Toronto Transit Comission (TTC) will probably be in a strike position next week. They refunded lost metro pass funds for the last strike. Could this extend to commuters who have to rent a car or use a taxi to get to work as a result?

  1. No.

  2. If you rent a car or take a taxi, it is out of your own pocket.

They only refund Pass money because it is something you paid for in advance, and you are not getting the service to which it entitles you... therefore partial refunds are granted for them.

  3. nope, it'd be out of your own pocket
