  1. oh you wont honey you will be just fine they will maybe even like what you did!!

  2. Read your lease

Generally if you are not allowed to make housing changes it will say so clearly in your lease, if you violate your lease tehn YES you can be evicted

if it isn't anywhere in your lease then you are probably safe, but good luck on the bill when you move out of your apartment, the landlord has a right to seek damages.

  3. I doubt you would be evicted.  But unless you have express permission to do this (and do get it in writing), I strongly suspect you will be liable for the cost of replacing carpet.  Move forward very cautiously.

  4. ask who ever your paying you morgage too

  5. They probably won't evict you, but you will have to pay a hefty price when you move out of that apartment.  If the damages you leave behind, including ripping the carpet up, exceed your sec. deposit, the owner of the apartment can sue for the balance.

  6. Maybe. Just ask your landlord if he/she would be ok with having wood flooring intead of carpeting. If you foot the bill to have the carpet removed and the floors re-finished, I'm sure your landlord would love to have a nicer floor.
