A&M is a consideration for me because I most likely won't get accepted into Baylor or UT, and I want to be in band, but I REALLY DO NOT want to march.

I hate marching

so i was wondering if i could do that, but not march

  1. Most college music programs allow you to participate in an ensemble, but not to march.  So, simply, yeah, you don't have to march.  But the flip side is, are you a music major?  Because for the Univ of South Carolina, where I go, all Music Ed. majors have to march for 3 years.  Performance majors don't.  That's only my school, but I would think others would run somewhat similarly.  Good luck with school!
