Can I be in the IB (International Baccalaurate) Program and Still Take AP Exams for College Credit?

I'm a little confused on the whole process (I'm going for pre-IB courses now) and I am deciding on whether I should just quit IB and go for a lot of AP classes. But can I take IB and take a couple of AP exams for college credits? Or would I just have to stick with IB?

I'm not positive, but I don't think you have to be in an AP class in order to take the AP exam. I was AP classes and one time I didn't get the class but someone told me I could still take the exam.

Maybe possible if you can cope with the workload and may offer more choices for further education!
