Can I become a Cop with a deffered ajudication misdemeanor

Hey guys,

I got charged with causing damage to a vehicle less than 200 dollars a 2 years ago and I received deffered ajudication for that. I really want to be a cop now and Im not sure if i qualify. does anyone have the CORRECT info?

Why, I don't know. You don't say what state you're in. Some jurisdictions might, some might not.

You don't say how the damage was done. This would make a difference. If it was a vehicle accident, not so much of a problem. If you took a baseball bat to someones car for the fun of it, or a vandalism, this is more of a problem. Two years ago is probably not enough time.
