Possible... but the chances are low. Very much so.

Not to mention all the political and racial tension between China, Korea and Japan.

Sure it's possible, but you have to learn the language of course.  I don't know about Chinese actors in Korea, but I've seen Japanese actors on Korean TV.

You'll first have to learn Korean.  However, there have been a few Japanese actors in Korean dramas, which are in my opinion the most popular dramas in Asia.

sure, but it won't be easy i guess. i'm korean-chinese, and the korean entertainment industry doesn't seem to hold many chinese entertainers; in fact, there are almost no chinese in the korean entertainment industry. why not expand in china? any particular reasons for choosing korea?

Go for it, but it won't be easy. You need to learn the Korean language, culture, social norms, etc. Why do you want to be a Korean actress anyway? China has a much bigger market and money-wise I think becoming well known in China might have larger benefits. Plus, transitions will not be as hard.

All I can say is good luck. Right now, there are problems between korea, japan china . With each country pointing fingers blaming who is stealing whose ideas and such. Another example is china constantly accusing korea of stealing their drama shows, songs when they have no valid proof and korea who are getting upset that the chinese govt is brainwashing their own citizens, all I can say is good luck.

Not saying its going to be bad but it cant hurt to try. Maybe you can set a good example for china.
