Don't get me wrong, I don't mind working with elders. But, I prefer to work with and treat disabled children. Are there places for just children? Or are they always mixed for everyone?

  1. You certainly can, but just like physicians, you have to demonstrate competency in treating in people of all age brackets.  Therefore, you become a generalist first; but once you graduate and pass your licensure, you can persue your interests.

PTs who work with children can work in pediatric clinics, in schools, or often in homes for those needing early intervention services.
