ok so I've always wanted to live in Europe, and since I am thinking about entering the field of architecture, I was wondering if I could get a degree in the US (maybe even study abroad) and get a good job with a firm in another country.

Anyone knows if it's possible?

I'm also fluent in Serbo-Croatian and Spanish...and trying to re-learn German

  1. Sure.  It's fairly common.  Look around your college...many of your professors are probably from different countries....many of the students are from different countries.

  2. It might be best to study in the country where you want to work:

You can increase language fluency while you learn.

You are more likely to learn the local codes and standards

They may be more likely to hire a naturalized citizen (you've been there a few years) than a complete stranger (never been to the country before)

It may help you decide if you *really* like that particular country (or city).  .
