Can I bleach my dyed black hair??

Question

I dyed my hair black about for months ago...it was permanent dye! My hair at the top has grow out and my hair is naturally brown!

I want it back to dark brown (chocolate brown) so can i bleach it myself? ....well me n my mum!!

Btw ive got curly hair and it is short

Don't do it yourself!!!  I've done that before, and it looks horrible.  It was a gross orange/yellow.  I would have it professionally done.
